Innovative Diesel Particulate Filter (commonly DPF) for PM reduction (Efficiency > 99%)

Using the Miretti’s Kit it is possible to retrain Euro 1/2/3/4 Off-Road machines with an interesting “upgrade” in terms of reducing polluting emissions allowing these vehicles to continue working. The Diesel Particulate Filter, also known as DPF, is a porous ceramic monolith structure designed as “wall-flow” with alternating adjacent channels plugged at opposite ends. Exhausts enter the open channels but only the gaseous components can pass through the porous wall exiting the adjacent channel. Soot that is entrained in the exhaust stream is trapped on the wall while the gaseous components pass unrestricted. Its efficiency removal can be up to 99% The DPF is generally coated with a layer of Platinum in order to assist with the combustion of the soot and to oxidize the CO created during the regeneration process.
