Castalia, Consorzio Stabile S.C.p.A. che raggruppa 33 tra armatori e imprese che operano nel mare territoriale e offshore, è attiva da oltre 30 anni in Italia e all’estero, con lo scopo di tutelare e salvaguardare l’ambiente marino. Le attività principali che vedono impegnato il Consorzio Castalia riguardano l’antinquinamento, le bonifiche ambientali di acque, fondali e litorali oltre che il recupero di rifiuti tossici e nocivi dal fondo marino, indagini sottomarine e di monitoraggio ambientale.
For 30 years, Castalia has been working in Italy and abroad in the field of maritime activities and safeguarding the marine environment: antipollution, remediation of inland waters, seabed and coastlines, recovery of toxic and harmful substances from the seabed, submarine surveys and environmental monitoring, education and rising environmental awareness, protection of the marine flora and fauna, research and development of new technologys as well as antipollution systems.
