ACIMAC è l'associazione dei fornitori italiani di impianti, macchinari, attrezzature, semilavorati, materie prime, design e servizi per l'industria ceramica, delle argille pesanti e dei refrattari. Il settore manifatturiero italiano di macchine per ceramica gode di una posizione di leadership mondiale con una quota di export in continua crescita che supera oggi i due terzi del fatturato totale annuo.
ACIMAC is the association of Italian suppliers of plant, machinery, equipment, semi-finished products, raw materials, design and services for the ceramic (ceramic tiles, sanitaryware, tableware), heavy clay and refractories industries. Acimac members include the majority of the sector's companies of various sizes based throughout Italy, although most operate in the provinces of Modena and Reggio Emilia, home to the world’s most important ceramic manufacturing district. The Italian ceramic machinery manufacturing sector enjoys a world leadership position with an export share that has grown continuously and now exceeds two-thirds of its total annual turnover, thanks to its unrivalled level of excellence and the fact that produces the most competitive plants that modern technology can offer. The sector is made up of 138 companies with a total annual turnover of 2,056 million euro. Most of the turnover is generated by the exports, for a total of more than 1,541 million euro (75% of the total turnover).
